Nearly 40,000 eviction cases are filed in Justice of the Peace Courts in Dallas County each year. The Child Poverty Action Lab, in collaboration with Dallas County, has released this initial prototype of an Eviction Filing Dashboard to help shed light on the local eviction landscape. The Action Lab hopes the information can help local stakeholders work ahead of housing crisis events and minimize the harmful effects of eviction on Dallas County residents.
